Niccolò Machiavelli (May 2, 1469- June 21, 1527) was a political philosopher and is considered the founder of the modern political theory. While living in Florence, before being expelled, he was the head of the second chancery at the age of 29. Using the knowledge gained through the position, Machiavelli would write his many political theories and would ultimately form the modern political theory.
